After a busy Saturday of photo shoots we headed up the coast on Sunday to photograph one of our favorite families at a Pumpkin patch near Half Moon Bay. We got there early before it got too crowed and it was beautiful day. The kids had a great time running through the corn field and picking out pumpkins for Halloween. The family wanted a shot for their annual Halloween card. I think we got that photo and a few more…
We just returned from 10 days at our favorite home away from home: Maui, Hawaii. We had a great time relaxing by the pool, swimming in the ocean and taking photographs of all the beautiful Hawaiian sights.
Once we returned to the mainland, we hit the ground running. We are now in full holiday swing, we just completed a full weekend of shoots with no end in sight.

As we approach the holiday season we wanted to remind everyone about cards and a few special gift ideas.
We offer 2 types of holiday cards. Our custom holiday cards are available in 5×7 or 5×5 folded or flat formats with a gallery of 30+ designs to choose from. The sky is the limit with these as we can customize them to your liking.

We also have 4″x8″ slimline greeting cards. Our 4×8 slimlines are perfect for any holiday or special occasion. Choose from a variety of templates or completely design your own 4×8 image. Of course, personalization is available with all our templates.

Our accordion wallet albums make a great gift or stocking stuffer.
We also have a variety of options available to mount and display your prints. Laura’s favorite at the moment is an array of 10×10 prints mounted on masonite with beveled black borders. She stuck them to the wall with velcro which makes them easy to switch in and out as your collection grows.
We can also do the bevel edges in silver and gold as well. If you want to just add some dimension to your images we can also mount them on 3/16″ or 3/4″ black foam board. In addition, don’t forget for those really special photos our prints on canvas and gallery wraps. For all prints, custom matting and framing is available as well.

Well, as you probably have noticed we have been doing some redecorating around here with a new website, color scheme, phone number (408-905-8766), etc. All in preparation for the upcoming holiday season.
We have had some big changes at home as well. Now that their twins are entering preschool, Laura has more time on her hands and she has come from behind the desk to behind the lens. With her artistic background growing up, Laura and the camera are a natural fit. Over the summer Laura shot some amazing images and really enjoys being in control of the entire process from image capture, retouching to final print. Look for Laura and I to hand the camera off during your session as we each angle to capture that perfect moment.
We are rapidly booking up our holiday sessions in October and November. We will not be shooting in December to ensure that all orders are completed promptly and to be able to spend time with our family during the holiday season. Triplets? Yes, 3 month old triplets. I knew this would be exciting, as I had no idea what would happen with 3 infants in the mix. We found some soft light in the master bedroom so we setup and let the action unfold. Three hours later we had captured some fabulous images and passed along whatever nuggets of advise we could remember to their somewhat sleep deprived parents. They were so cute, we are looking forward to watching them grow up!
We spent the Saturday after Thanksgiving photographing some very special families. We wanted to say thank you to our service men and women by providing them and their families current photos to have during their deployments at no cost to them. We met some wonderful families and enjoyed giving a little bit back in recognition of the huge sacrifice these families make to keep our country free.
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year! We had a great 2008 with a huge number of photo shoots during the holiday season and we will be posting some of favorite photos here on the blog over the next couple of weeks.

We have been very busy capturing and editing photographs from our Parents of Multiples Clubs fund raising sessions and our many other clients (November is a very busy month for a photographer).
